About We Participate

We Participate for Civil Society Development is a Jordanian non-profit organization established in 2014 by a group of youth and activists in Zarqa Governorate. The organization's goal is to promote accountability and community participation in decision-making, adhering to the principles of democracy and human rights. We focus on enhancing social cohesion by encouraging dialogue and acceptance of others, which helps build a unified society capable of positive interaction. We also work to strengthen the economic participation of youth and women through programs aimed at empowering them and providing sustainable job opportunities, thereby enhancing their economic independence. We are also committed to supporting the green economy, encouraging the adoption of sustainable environmental practices that contribute to environmental protection and promote sustainable development. Through these projects, we aim to create a better future focused on economic and social sustainability. We believe that active participation in various forms is essential for communities. By developing pathways for participation in political, economic, and social fields, we help drive development and increase participation, especially in less privileged areas
